A more comfortable visit
starts here.
Preparation and aftercare are different for each treatment. Choose yours below.
Waxing & sugaring
Before your appointment
Hair length: 4–5 mm
After shaving, allow about 13–14 days of growth. Underarms usually need about 7 days, depending on growth. Hair that is too short may not be caught by the wax or sugar paste.
1–2 days before
You can gently exfoliate if your skin is not irritated. Moisturise regularly in the days before your visit. Avoid harsh acids and scrubs immediately before the appointment.
On the day
Keep the area clean. Do not apply oils, rich creams or lotions. Do not treat sunburned, damaged or irritated skin.
Tell us beforehand
If you take retinoids or use strong skin products, speak with the team before treatment.
After your appointment
First 24–48 hours
Avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, pools and intense exercise. Avoid scrubs, rough washcloths, acids and alcohol-based products.
Protect the skin
Avoid sunbathing and sunbeds for at least 48 hours. Wear loose clothing; after bikini waxing, choose soft cotton underwear. Use SPF 50 on exposed areas.
Underarms: first 24 hours
Avoid deodorant where possible, especially if the skin is irritated.
After 3–5 days
Once the skin has fully settled, gradually resume gentle exfoliation. Moisturise regularly.
Ingrown hairs
Do not squeeze them or try to remove them with a needle. Ask a professional about inflamed or painful bumps. Mild redness and sensitivity can occur and usually settle on their own.
